Potential conference championship and College Football Playoff path for top contenders (10/06)

The Cover 3 crew updates 2021 fantasy league standings and re-grades the preseason draft. With five weeks in the books on the 2021 college football season, it’s time to review the 10-team squads assembled in the Cover 3 Fantasy Draft before the year. With bonus points awarded at the end of the year for making a bowl, winning a conference, making the College Football Playoff and more, the draft is reviewed with an eye on the future and teams most likely to cash in on those bonuses. The conversation starts with a show bet on whether both Alabama and Georgia will finish the year in the SEC Championship Game a combined 24-0 (3:30) before moving to the opposite end of the spectrum, with Clemson and Wisconsin falling short of expectations that had them both picked in the first two rounds (13:00). Then, judging Oregon’s playoff chances given its great win and one loss through five weeks (28:35), whether Ohio State or Georgia is more likely to win the national championship (37:20), what it would take for Cincinnati to make the playoff and much more (43:15).
