SYNOPSIS
After a particularly difficult job, hit men Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson) head to Belgium to hide out until things cool down. Ray hates the medieval city they land in, but Ken finds its beauty and peacefulness enchanting. Their experiences become increasingly surreal and possibly life-changing as they encounter tourists, locals and a potential romance for Ray.

JOE'S BIO
Joe studied performance in Bull Alley Theatre training company in Dublin from 2010-2013 & also in 2011 spent a summer studying in Lee Strasberg Film & Theater Institute in New York.
Joe has written two full length plays ‘Bright eyes’ & ‘Goodbye to Marie’ while also has a series of short plays titled ‘the new Irish Playbook’ which has been performed across Ireland & England.
Joe Has written 5 comedy short films ‘Coming out’ ‘Our Child’ ‘Is it ever okay to be a xenophobe’ ‘Millennials’ & ‘Man United Through Pain’ which has close to 800,000 views across Facebook/YouTube.
Joe is the artistic director of Little Shadow Theatre Company where Joe has produced many of his own plays and many of his contemporaries plays too.
Dedicated to creating & highlighting new work Joe created an (almost) annual festival also titled ‘The New Irish Playbook’ where Joe brings together new Irish playwrights and pairs them with directors and actors who have never worked together before to create truly original work.During lockdown, joe created ‘The isolation series’ where for 12 weeks joe brought together actors over Zoom to perform in an original scene written/directed by Joe each week.
Joe also started his own podcast ‘Joe Talks: The Hunt for the greatest movie ever!’
Where Joe has a new guest on every week and asks them to watch 3 best picture winners from consecutive years and asks them to rank these movies from 1st-3rd. These podcast are available to listen to on all streaming platforms
