About Teagan West:
Teagan West (she/they) is a Ritualist, Astrologer, Drum Maker & Ancestral Healing Practitioner from Ho:di:no:saunee Land, home of the Seneca Nation. The core of her work focuses on restoring Animist Lifeways as a form of Cultural Repair, re-membering our ancestral cosmologies as guideposts for the future. Teagan's Ancestors come from Ireland, Syria, Egypt + Eastern Anishinaabe Territory, whose legacy is at the center of her work + ritual praxis. She weaves together threads of Astrological Storytelling, Land Reconnection, Ancestral Tending and Community Ritual as a unique tapestry of culture work + animist remembrance. In her free time, you can find her making ritual tools such as Drums + Rattles, or communing with the Land and Ancestors through Song + Dance.
Teagan is humbled to be back at the Magician's Table in the role of Staffholder, with the high honor of supporting 13th Readers and fellow Magicians through this year's cycle. This container had a huge impact on Teagan's life + practice, so it is an immense gift to be able to support others in experiencing the alchemy that this space has to offer. She will be present throughout the year to uplift Magicians + 13th Readers as they deepen into their gifts + soften into their growth edges.
