Transitioning from Metal to Electronic Music

My transition from metal to electronic music began when I heard the Black Celebration album by Depeche Mode and the Pretty Hate Machine album by Nine Inch Nails. These albums introduced me to a darker, more cinematic sound, which I found intriguing. I became drawn to this style and started exploring other bands like Depeche Mode, The Cure, and New Order. These bands expanded my musical tastes and led me to appreciate electronic music alongside metal. It was this fusion of genres that influenced the sound of The Crystal Method, taking heavy guitar riffs and mixing them with electronic elements, creating a unique blend of rock and electronic music.
