Happy New Year to all of our listeners, and welcome to the first Mondoweiss podcast episode of 2022.

In November of last year a Palestinian Day of Solidarity was held in Philadelphia.

At the event Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney delivered a proclamation in solidarity with the Palestinians.

Our U.S. correspondent Michael Arria spoke with one of the local organizers, Jude Husein.
