Ep 875 : Mark Rosenthal owner of the Sunset Marquis Rock n Roll Hotel

Today on another episode of Let There Be Talk, I'm sitting down with a guy who has one of the coolest jobs in Los Angeles — Mark Rosenthal, owner of the legendary Sunset Marquis.

For decades, the Sunset Marquis has been much more than a hotel. It's been a home away from home for rock stars, musicians, actors, comedians, producers, and some of the most interesting characters to ever pass through Los Angeles. The walls of that place have seen some serious history.

Today Mark takes us deep into the story of the Sunset Marquis — how it became one of the most legendary rock 'n' roll hotels in the world, the people who have stayed there, the stories that have unfolded behind those walls, and what makes the place so special after all these years.

We also talk about the brand-new documentary If These Walls Could Rock, which digs into the incredible history and mythology surrounding this iconic hotel.

I love the history of Los Angeles, I love rock 'n' roll, and when you put those two things together, you get one hell of a conversation.

So let's get into it. Mark Rosenthal, owner of the Sunset Marquis, right here on Let There Be Talk.

Thank You
