Phil spoke out of Luke 4 and Jesus’ Kingdom sermon at the synagogue when He reads from Isaiah 61. This is the proclamation and inauguration of the Kingdom of God coming in a new way, through Jesus Himself. This is the Kingdom in which the blind are healed, captives are freed, debts are paid, and people far from God can come home.
