LSU FIRES Brian Kelly | Where do the Tigers turn next?

LSU has fired Brian Kelly a day after a 49-25 loss at home to Texas A&M ended the Tigers’ chances of making the College Football Playoff. Kelly went 34-14 at LSU, but the Tigers expect to compete for national titles after their previous three coaches won titles within their first four seasons. LSU never made the CFP under Kelly. The Tigers won the SEC West in his first year. In his second year, QB Jayden Daniels won the Heisman Trophy, but a historically bad defense derailed the season. After loading up through the transfer portal entering year four, LSU expected to compete for championships. But after losses to Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Texas A&M, those hopes were dashed.
