She says she felt “groomed” by her management to take on more bombshell roles and to embrace that career path. Unfortunately, Scarlett’s not alone. Megan Fox and Natalie Portman have also spoken up about their similar experiences and the lasting ramifications. On the bright side, Scarlett says Hollywood culture may have changed slightly, and that younger actors aren’t as boxed-in as they used to be. But are things better? And will it last?
