Al-Qaeda's Attack on the USS Cole

Kirk Lippold is a retired U.S. Navy Commander. Kirk was the Commanding Officer of the USS Cole on October 12, 2000, when the ship was attacked in the port of Aden, Yemen, resulting in the tragic loss of 17 American sailors.
