Tackling Mental Health With Happify Health’s Ofer Leidner

Happify Health is a global software-enabled healthcare platform that connects mental health with physical health, using personalized digital therapeutics and other care solutions. We discuss the challenges of treating mental health and its implications for treating chronic conditions, as well as the impact of COVID-19 on how the industry thinks about behavioral change. We also explore how Happify’s platform uses gamification techniques to motivate and engage users, and ultimately effectuates behavior change. Happify’s platform currently addresses mental health related to 10 chronic conditions and has been able to show a 25% improvement in symptoms of depression, with 86% of adherent users seeing an improvement in happiness within 2 months.
