In this episode, we are joined by a returning guest in the form of Ed Kirwan, Founder  @EmpathyWeek  who brought with him a powerhouse in Empathy Education, Dr Helen Demetriou from the University of Cambridge.

We talk about how empathy is a skill that can be developed, the difference between empathy and sympathy and also how it is the foundation for all other skill development. As usual, it's a whirlwind through lots of iconoclasm - exams, prescribed curricula, teacher workload - all in the name of building a future for education.
