Florence Welch and Jodie Turner-Smith reflect on their personal awakening in a special series created with Vogue to celebrate Gucci Bloom

In a new series of films created in collaboration with Vogue, the charismatic women of the Gucci Bloom family explore empowerment from within themselves, reminiscing on stories of their own personal awakening. Celebrating their strength, power and continued evolution as women, the first films in ‘The Awakening’ series see Florence Welch  and Jodie Turner-Smith in moments of poise and performance, as well as rest and reflection.

Introduced by the voice of Vogue contributor Kathleen Baird-Murray, in the first act Florence Welch describes the realizations that have shaped her creative processes and her personality. Here, we hear Florence speak on her own strength, power and continued evolution. 

For Jodie Turner-Smith, mothering her daughter has been an awakening. Here, she reminisces upon the connectedness she feels with her body and mind since motherhood.
