Motics is an app platform geared towards helping patients with physiotherapy needs. Through a series of wearable sensors and a gamified approach, Motics’ users receive actionable insights into their muscle function while electrical signals help them understand which muscles to use during rehabilitation and exercise.
Harvinder holds degrees in both medicine and biomedical engineering, and co-founded Motics to support a family member’s physiotherapy goals. Motics has received multiple awards since its conception in 2019 including from Kickstart and MSDUK, and Harvinder was additionally named the Global Champion of the 2020 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards.
In this episode, we cover everything from a love of Nintendo Wii to building up mental resilience and the power of community and networking.
