Over 22 veterans choose to end their lives every single day. The system meant to support them is broken and the U.S. Secretary of Veteran Affairs Doug Collins knows it.

Collins describes why the VA’s 170 hospitals must function as one integrated network and how he will steward a $400 billion budget and 460,000 employees for maximum impact. The conversation covers efforts to accelerate claims, cut wait-times, and create seamless hand-offs from DoD service to VA care for the nine million veterans currently enrolled.
