In our roam recap podcast, Jes and I review some of our weekly notes and discuss topics that we weren't able to talk about in our book review episodes.
--
Today we touched on some really interesting topics such as:
- The direction of thoughts - how by keeping track of your thoughts by noting them down and referencing them you are able to see which direction they were going in, allowing you to pick up where you came from and continue your chain of thought.
- Gymnastics - how its ethos of training your muscles full range of motion compares to the standardised methods in gyms that predominantly focus on concentrated movements.
- Music and Emotions - How music affects our emotions and whether producing music can be used as a way of training your internal gauge and intuition.
- Attachment theory - how children acquire 3 main assumptions as they come into this world; these being that the world is benevolent, the world is meaningful and finally that the self is worthy.
If any of these areas sound interesting to you, do give it a listen and be sure to let us know what you thought of it, whether that be in the comment section below or via a DM to our Instagram account.
