Inspired to Ride - Andrew Backer

Long distance bike racer, philosopher, Renaissance Man, and aspiring author Andrew Backer joins Doc in the studio to talk about his recent experience in the 2023 Trans America Race. Settle in and buckle up as the two discuss a wide variety of topics, including dessert pizza, anti doping, the Oxford comma, finding your limits, racing the storm, the state of Misery, asking for advice and not permission, and how a recreational bike rider entered (and finished!) his very first bike race, which just happened to stretch 4,176 miles and cover almost 200,000 feet of elevation change.
