Episode 2 - Roger Madelin CBE

This evening I am joined by Roger Madelin CBE, Head of British Land’s Canada Water masterplan and former CEO of Argent and the chief visionary for Kings Cross. Roger and I discussed his earliest career from contractor to developer, the struggles he faced with a scheme like Kings Cross, what drives him and motivates him. He has a true passion for what he does and an incredible engine and confidence that he was on the right path with Kings Cross well before others saw the same vision. What I found fascinating was talking to Roger he has reached some dizzy heights in terms of titles and responsibilities but had no problem sharing and ultimately relinquishing these titles as he concentrated on his passions: the projects and the impact these have on the people in them.
