Deep dives
Fear of Heights
Francesca admits to not liking being at the top of tall buildings and usually avoids going up towers and tall buildings when visiting new cities. However, she did make exceptions when she went to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Empire State Building in New York, although she didn't stay up there for long. Mark, on the other hand, reveals that he was terrified of clowns as a child, but he is not scared of heights.
Fear of Clowns and Spiders
Mark shares that his fear of clowns was quite common for children, and he can understand why they might appear weird to a child. He used to hate their wild hair and white faces, making birthday parties a nightmare. However, he no longer fears clowns. Nowadays, Mark's only fear is spiders, but he acknowledges that not everyone shares that fear, finding them interesting instead. Francesca doesn't have a fear of spiders and actually enjoys looking at them when they enter her house.
In the extra episode, we listen to a conversation between Mark and Francesca, who is from Italy, about things they are scared of.
