Radio Advisory 171: Data privacy in the wake of Dobbs

In the last two weeks, we discussed the use of consumer data and how the FTC is using its power to respond to data privacy concerns. While there are stakeholders who are taking action in response, we wanted to explore a key question: what happens when the concerns raised are left unchecked? Following the 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, we seem to have a test case.
In part three of Radio Advisory’s series on consumer data, host Rachel Woods invites Advisory Board experts Ty Aderhold and John League to discuss how the Dobbs decision impacts conversations around data privacy and how healthcare leaders should be thinking about protecting patient reproductive data.
