Windrush 75: ‘Thank the pioneers while you can’

Personal stories from the Windrush generation about their memories of coming to the UK and what the 75th anniversary means to them. 

Plus, Patrick Vernon OBE, culture historian, social commentator and campaigner, whose parents are part of the Windrush generation. He explains why the anniversary is bittersweet, what still needs to be done in relation to the scandal, and his campaign to have the Windrush anchor turned into a memorial.
