Lanier caught my attention on Instagram as I watched him hilariously lip-sync in his car on the way to the Wheelhouse, where he is the Executive Director. The Wheelhouse is a recovery home for men who have hit rock bottom. Lanier found himself there in 2009 after being homeless and an alcoholic. His story is incredible and filled with hope. Not only has he been sober since 2009 but he is now helping other men change their lives. If you or someone you know are struggling with substance abuse and addiction, this episode is for you.
