I'm joined by my special guest Meghan McHallam today who wants to give us her story of how she found a way to heal herself from POTS - Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.
She used to follow a plant based diet, but eventually realised it was making her sick and decided to make the hard change to move to an animal based diet, and quickly found her condition improved.
Unfortunately like so many others like her, Megan had a very hard time finding a doctor who would even listen to her and take her seriously enough to even diagnose the POTS, never mind getting on the right treatment. Eventually she found an integrative doctor would listened to her and took her seriously.
Megan's advice to anyone out there who thinks they may have POTS - educate yourself, test yourself (Google 'poor man's tilt test') and don't take no for an answer!
