This week we are joined by William Wayland to discuss the training of pro golfers. After a quick run down how he got involved with the European Tour he shares with us what his role consists of, and some of the limitations to it. Next, he dives into how they select the what’s, why’s, and how’s of how they set the programs on the tour. This traffic light style system has been super effective for them to continue to develop the players. He the shares with us what he’s seeing that has the largest impact on improving club head speed and ball speed, including where they may actually see the limitations in those two. We finish off discussing some of the cultural shift occurring in golf when it comes to training golfers and how eduction has played a massive role in that.
