In 2016's Cafe Society 1930s Hollywood beckons young Bobby (Jesse Eisenberg), where his uncle's star power (Steve Carell) clashes with love for his enigmatic assistant Vonnie (Kristen Stewart). He yearns for authenticity amidst studio phonies, but Vonnie's secret affair throws him back to New York. Managing a gangster brother's club brings success and a glamorous socialite (Blake Lively), yet Vonnie's unexpected return rekindles the flame. Caught between old love and new promises, Bobby confronts the fickle heart of fame and dreams, realizing life's bittersweet melodies sometimes play on repeat.
