Ep.4 Alexander Beiner-Literary World to Underworld: Knowing, Spiritual Narcissism & Psychedelics

Exploring Ali's journey out of the literary world and his latest series of pieces of Medium concerning 'Lost Ways of Knowing'. We riffed on the 'dance' of being between openness and ground and then explored the challenges of charismatic narcissism in spiritual communities and the ongoing cultural questions around psychedelics.

Alexander Beiner is the co-founder of Rebel Wisdom where he is responsible for live events, summits and facilitation of retreats and workshops. Previously a novelist, meditation instructor and co-organiser of the psychedelics conference Breaking Convention he is currently writing long form pieces exploring Embodied Cognition, Culture and how a deeper Mytho-Poetic understanding can guide us through a time between worlds.
