Hey everybody! Episode 83 of the show is out. In this episode, I spoke with Alonso del Rio. I had heard about Alonso for a number of years and two of my friends spoke very highly of him. Alonso is an ayahuasquero who lives and works in the Sacred Valley of Peru and has a medicine center, Ayahuasca Ayllu. He also wrote a very good book called Tawantinsuyo 5.0. I knew Alonso had a lot of wisdom to share and this interview lived up to my hope. Alonso has been immersed in this work for over forty years and is one of the first people I know to have worked with the Shipibo people. That experience and wisdom are evident when Alonso speaks, being able to bridge the world of plants to the daily world and to be able to bridge many concepts into ideas that are easy to understand. To me, this is a sign of wisdom and it was a pleasure and honor to have Alonso share in this deep conversation. Thank you to my friend Bruno Morey for the translation.
