On this episode: The first episode of ‘RCV Explained,’ our four-part series on Ranked-Choice Voting. As RCV garners more attention–and more ballot measures and bills aim to either expand, limit, or ban RCV–we’re here with everything you need to know. 

In Part 1, Ballotpedia Staff Writer Joe Greaney joins to provide a simple definition of RCV and an overview of what the country’s current legislative landscape looks like. We recap the ballot measures we saw in 2023 and take a look ahead to what initiatives have started gaining traction for 2024.
