This week we are joined by Ashely Jones to discuss training the Rugby Athlete. After a quick intro Ashley discusses with us his time with the Samoan National Team including some of the limitation that were associated with dealing with athletes on the island. This leads him into discussing the role of the coach as the teacher, and how a pedagogy background was so important to impacting him as a coach. He then shares with us some of the strategies he’s been most successfully with teaching his athletes how to preform better. He then shares with us some lessons that he’s learned along the way that have been successful at multiple stops.
