Dr. Robert M. Price Was The Apostle Paul truly a fraud? The Apostle Paul wrote much of the New Testament and charted a course that Christians have been following (and fighting about) ever since. For many Christians—especially for conservative evangelicals—Paul’s writings form the core teachings of their churches, from settling church squabbles to the centrality of the death and resurrection of Christ.
So here’s the irony: Paul’s letters have long formed the core of Christian theology, but Paul’s handling of his Bible makes him look like the crazy uncle you make excuses for or avoid entirely. Paul is known for taking Hebrew Scriptures out of context to suite his needs on the ground in the first century. He could be compared to Simon Magus trying to purchase the Holy Spirit (ghost) from the pillars of the church. He was tasked to bring money to the Jerusalem church, but did he pocket any? Dr. Robert M. Price in his book, The Amazing Colossal Apostle: The Search for the Historical Paul, he surveys through all of Paul's epistles & Pseudo-Pauline epistles like Ephesians etc to show more about Paul than most have every wanted to know. The apostle Paul is suspect in the New Testament.
