

An Idiot's Guide To The Renters Reform Bill (Plus What HMO Investors Can Do About It)
The long-awaited Renters Reform Bill has finally been published and is now making its way through Parliament. This is a substantial document with a lot of information to digest.
However, I have taken the time to thoroughly review it, and today, I will highlight some of the most important aspects that, as HMO property investors, we need to be aware of and start considering.
Overall, I believe this bill is not particularly favourable for landlords. While there are a few positive aspects that we will touch upon, it largely seems to favour tenants. Therefore, we need to understand and adapt to these changes. We will also discuss actionable steps that we can take in response.
