Once we have an appreciation for ourselves, it's not a simple switch to then say, "Yes, I want to nourish my body in all these ways!" But, it does become easier and more fluid when you begin to lean back and see how everything's connected.
I'm so excited to share an inspiring conversation with my past client & dear friend Michele Rudolphi. Inside this conversation we explored self nourishment, re-defining our relationship with our bodies & food, and faith as a practice. This truly was a beautiful conversation about what it means to really come home into the body.
Here’s what we talked about in this episode:
- What it means to really come home into the body to reestablish a rightful relationship with yourself and with food
- Exploring intuitive vs. emotional eating
- Cultivating more grace within ourselves, and meeting ourselves with deeper love and compassion so that we can shift from states of striving, reaching, and trying to control to trust, faith, and openness
- Releasing attachment & control and developing a healthier relationship with food
Michele is a dietitian and former personal trainer who helps women right their relationship with food AND themselves so they can live a more joyful life. She guides women home to their bodies, hearts, and sense of self in order to reclaim their innate wholeness, worthiness, and belonging. She supports women in shifting from just what they're eating to how they're meeting their food and ultimately their bodies. She believes creating a deeper relationship with self and cultivating confidence within is what creates lasting change & transformation. She helps women in moving from striving to thriving {in body. mind, and spirit}. She believes every woman deserves a life well nourished and she's on a mission to help others in remembering that truth!
