The Importance of Worship

At the heart of the Reformation lies the significance of worship. While the Reformation is commonly associated with the authority of the Bible and justification by faith, reformer John Calvin emphasizes worship as the ultimate goal. The Bible is a means to bring knowledge of God, and justification leads to fellowship with God. Both scripture and justification are given to us to love and worship God.
