Former Prime Minister John Howard- who reformed Australia's gun laws in the 1990s says he doesn't want a focus on guns after the Bondi terror attack to "be used as a pretext to avoid the broader debate" about antisemitism.
Earlier this week, National Cabinet agreed to strengthen gun laws after the deadly Bondi terror attack.
