The Broderick's began their real estate journey less than a year ago and shortly after they found a four-bedroom, two-bath house that initially seemed out of reach due to its high listing price. However, they persisted, tracked the property, and eventually secured it for $159,000 after several price drops and negotiations.

Morgan highlights the importance of perseverance, networking, and leveraging resources like a good real estate agent and external funding to make the deal work. Their plan includes a $20,000 rehab, aiming to sell the property by October with an anticipated after-repair value (ARV) between $280,000 and $350,000, which could yield a significant profit. Selling the property within their target range will yield more than a year’s worth of salary for both Morgan and her husband in just one transaction!
