Gold medal-winning diver Tom Daley was recently in the news for being spotted knitting in the stands at the Olympics. He said that this was his "secret weapon" for staying calm, managing stress, and staying in a better headspace before competing.
Does he know something we don't? Could knitting be a viable strategy for managing pre-competition stress?
There is actually a tiny bit of research on this, and that's what we'll take a look at in today's episode.
