š“147. Mash-ups
Todayās episode is inspired by a night out under the stars at Brisbaneās Riverstage, where I saw Train live (highly recommend, by the way!). It got me thinking ā not just about great music, but about mashups. Remixes. Genre-bending. And how we can apply that same creativity to our work.
From acoustic sets to DJ teases, to a live mashup of KT Tunstall and Razorlight (unexpected and excellent), this whole experience reminded me of something I love: contrast. And how powerful it is to combine unexpected things to create something fresh.
In this episode, I riff on:
- š¶ Why mashups make us pay attention
- š§ The connection between music genres and your business rhythm
- š” How you can remix your own workday, methodology, or strategy session
- šŗ Why I think Iām currently operating in āfunk modeā (not that kind of funk)
- šø A little crowd-surfing, phone-snapping, ice-breaking concert magic from Trainās Pat Monahan
Prompt for you:
What genre are you playing in your business right now?
And what unexpected element could you mash in to make it more original, engaging ā or just more you?
Let me know what youāre remixing ā Iād love to hear from you.
Thanks again for tuning in. š§
