Despite the White House and the Kremlin saying Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin’s phone call went well and made progress to a ceasefire in Ukraine, there was no new detail or timeline on the Ukraine peace process. The US President says he’s open to meeting his Russian counterpart - and last week his Secretary of State Marco Rubio said face-to-face talks would be the only way to make progress. Russia specialist Emily Ferris, from the RUSI think tank, explains whether an in-person meeting will happen and what it would actually accomplish.
