The Weekly Dwell: What I Learned From My Mexican Medical Emergency

I experienced another major health reaction (this time in a foreign country on vacation) with no access to my usual safety nets. Laying there, shaking and praying for relief, I realized yet again: God is bringing me back to surrender. Not because He wants to scare me, but because He wants to free me.
