João is well-known as an existential psychotherapist and psychologist, supervisor and lecturer, and a pioneer in combining what he has learned from Focusing with his interests in spirituality and psychedelic therapy. He is also a Focusing Institute Coordinator in Portugal. João is at the leading edge of the use of psychedelics in therapy and he currently works at the ‘Liminal Minds’ ketamine clinic in Portugal.
