Joining me for today’s show is Dr. Joe Lipsky, who shares helpful tips to optimize sports performance and recovery. He explains zone training, how to do it appropriately, and his approach to sports injuries and treatment.
Dr. Joe Lipsky obtained his BS in Applied Psychology from Farmingdale University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbia University Medical School. He uses his combined experiences from his doctorate program and continuing education to deliver to his clients a unique blend of rehabilitation and performance therapy. At Reload Physical Therapy and Fitness, Joe specializes in helping endurance athletes overcome injuries and improve their performance and has helped clients complete their first marathons, 100-mile ultra-endurance races, and Ironman competitions. When Joe isn’t working, he loves playing golf, doing his Ironman training, and traveling to new places.
