Our guest today is Greg Bartalos, Editor in Chief of RIA Intel. He was previously Editor in Chief of Barrons.com and had roles at Yahoo Finance, Bloomberg News and Institutional Investor.

In this episode, Greg explains what led Institutional Investor to launch RIA Intel with him leading the charge in Summer 2019, how RIA's can leverage the media to benefit their business, and why he thinks some RIA's didn't properly evaluate the risk of accepting PPP loans. We also discuss some of his recent pieces covering ethical issues in the industry, why the March downturn may unmask ponzi schemes and fraudsters, and why the ability to develop trust with clients is so important for advisors.
