Founder and Artistic Director of Stanford Repertory Theater, he has worked as an actor or director at the several regional theaters in the United States and abroad, including Magic Theater, TheatreWorks, the Alliance Theater, Seven Stages, the Guthrie Theater, Center Theater Group/Getty Museum, Arena Stage, and the McCarter Theater.
