Episode notes
The Trinity Is Revealed For Us To Know
- God’s triunity belongs among revealed truths because Scripture presents it for believers to know.
- Deuteronomy 29:29 distinguishes God’s secret things from what he deliberately makes known.
The Trinity Transcends Logic Without Breaking It
- The Trinity teaches three persons in one being, not three persons in one person or three beings in one being.
- Its uniqueness exceeds human comprehension without violating logic or becoming nonsensical.
Stop Looking For A Trinity Illustration
- Avoid searching for a perfect illustration of the Trinity, since created comparisons are radically unlike God.
- Sanders compares this uniqueness to God creating everything from nothing and possessing omnipotence.
