

E11: Nicolette Cavaleros on creating agents for change in the arts, cultural & creative industries.
Nicolette has worked with global corporates and governments to resolve strategic stakeholder issues and create development strategies at the intersection of private and public industry (UK, eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa and Southern Africa). During her studies in the arts Nicolette worked at the Whitechapel Gallery, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Tate and aspreyjacques gallery.
Nicolette holds a Masters in Digital Art History from Birkbeck College, a Diploma in Modern and Contemporary Art and Design from Christie’s Education, and from the University of the Witwatersrand a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Business Administration) and a Bachelor of Arts.
As Co-director of Outset Contemporary Art Fund, an international, independent charity that pools donations from partners and patron circles to support contemporary art, challenge thinking and further the artistic discourse to inspire new audiences, Nicolette has led Outset’s Studiomakers campaign, that brokers truly affordable spaces for creative production and cultural consumption.
