One of the scariest journeys you could ever embark on is the one of discovering who you truly are. We’re faced with so many different demands and expectations that it’s quite simple to become someone we aren’t or don’t want to be.

The journey of discovering who you are is challenging and complex. But it all starts with realizing that in order to find yourself, you have to realize it’s not about you.

True self-awareness is found in a true awareness of God. Whether it be through a personal or cultural crises or vulnerability, the Lord guides us to self-awareness through Him alone.

Becoming self-aware is essential, and it’s only attainable through a deeper intimacy and awareness of our God.
