He is certified by both the American Boards of Internal Medicine and of Anesthesiology. Dr. Roizen is the Cofounder of RealAge Inc, which was sold in 2006, but still Chairs its Scientific Advisory Board. He is 72 calendar years of age (2018), but his real age is 53.8.
