Retaliations Rocking the Middle East

Recent retaliations in the Middle East, such as the attack on a US shipping vessel by Iran-backed Houthi rebels and subsequent response from the US, have escalated tensions in the region. The US designated the Houthi rebels as global terrorists, freezing their assets, while Iran conducted a missile strike that reportedly killed two children in Pakistan. This led to further strikes between Pakistan and Iran. However, amidst the violence, there was a positive development with the first cooperation between Israel and Hamas since November, resulting in aid reaching Gaza.
