Evan Henshaw-Plath, known as Rabble, is a pioneering technologist and activist recognized for his work in social media and decentralized technologies. As the first employee and lead developer at Odeo, he played a key role in creating Twitter. His commitment to user-driven, community-focused platforms is reflected in his work with nos.social, a decentralized social media app built on the Nostr protocol. He also co-founded theIndymedia.org tech team, advancing grassroots media. A former researcher at the MIT Media Lab’s Center for Civic Media and an Edmund Hillary Fellow, Rabble combines technical expertise with a passion for political organizing, envisioning a future where digital communities operate independently of centralized control.
