Steve Denyer is joined by HIV activist and one of the first people diagnosed with HIV in the UK, Jonathan Blake.
Jonathan shares the heart-breaking story of when he was diagnosed with HIV at a time when the virus was labelled a death sentence and what it was like to live with the virus throughout the height of the pandemic.
He explains how he became the inspiration for a character in the hit movie Pride.
He also discusses how far we’ve come in the treatment of HIV and what’s still left to achieve.
